KID is a Knowledge, Innovation and Development programme that prepares T&Ts children for the digital era through ICT education. Teachers will be trained in the use of ICT in education. All schools will have computers and there will be an interactive network of innovative schools at a national and international level.
LibraryNet
The LibraryNet Programme will provide all libraries with computers and high-speed internet access. In addition to providing on-line books and e-learning, LibraryNet will provide users with easy access to valuable historical & cultural information.

SKIE
Adults are also winning in education with fastforward through the Skills & Knowledge for the Information Era (SKIE) Programme. SKIE will provide technology and internet training courses for all levels of expertise. It will also create a network of online services and tools aimed at helping employers and job seekers use the Internet for recruitment, career planning and labour information.
